Excitement mounted during a break at the Dec. 6 Golden Gophers men’s basketball game when two students came to center court with Land O’Lakes representatives Brandi DeVries and Heidi Riese. Goldy Gopher spun the prize wheel, which selected Ryan Thompson as the lucky winner of a $1,000 scholarship from Land O’Lakes.
