Land O’Lakes representatives are frequently part of the recruiting scene on the U of M’s Twin Cities campus, helping students see the company brand and careers, and hone job-seeking skills. Three recent examples among many include:

The CSE Career Fair: Career fairs guide students in learning more about the process of seeking jobs and internships, and connecting with prospective employers.

Land O’Lakes participated in the February 7 CSE Career Fair held in 3M Arena at Mariucci, and attended by 1,700 science and engineering students

Carlson School M.B.A. recruiting: Land O’Lakes looks to the Carlson School for M.B.A. grads who are veterans. An article in the winter 2018 issue of Legacy, the University of Minnesota Foundation’s magazine for donors and friends, describes the school’s nationally-known initiative that helps veterans translate their military experience to the language of business.

Nick Koewler, a Land O’Lakes talent acquisition manager, is quoted in Legacy's "From battlefield to business"

Transfer Welcome Day: Land O’Lakes helped to welcome incoming transfer students at Transfer Welcome Day on January 19, as the new semester began.  Jenny Friedman, senior recruiter and supervisor at Land O’Lakes, did a mini-workshop about how to talk with a recruiter.

Land O’Lakes’ presence was part of an event that welcomed 110 new students and helped them prepare for internship and job opportunities down the road
