Recruiting events rise nearly 60 percent in fall 2016
Land O’Lakes saw a major uptick in the number of recruiting events at the U of M in fall 2016—a key measure of recruiting success. The College Relations team participated in or hosted 62 recruiting events on the Twin Cities campus, a nearly 60 percent increase from fall 2015. The Land O’Lakes brand was seen by approximately 6,900 U of M students as they learned more about the company.
“These activities are part of our overarching strategy to develop our pipeline of future business leaders,” said Nick Koewler, Land O’Lakes talent acquisition manager. “The number of recruiting events at the U of M is triple the number of events from our other recruiting schools.”
With a new semester underway, the College Relations team is again busy on campus with hosting large-scale gatherings as well as smaller, more focused interactions such as workshops and site visits. A full summary of the 2016-2017 recruiting year will be available in summer 2017.
